Music Dojo Support

Music Dojo plays audio files you already own, organised in your own folders. It is a free offline player — not a streaming service — with tools to bring whole folders in over Wi-Fi and keep your library tidy.

Four ways. (1) Files tab → + → Choose Files or Choose a Folder, to import from the Files app, iCloud Drive, or a connected drive. (2) AirDrop audio from a Mac or another device and pick Music Dojo. (3) Import a ZIP archive of a whole album. (4) Tools → Wi-Fi Transfer, then open the address it shows in your computer's browser, enter the six-digit code, and drop in files or a whole folder — folders keep their subfolder structure. Music Dojo also appears in the Files app under "On My iPhone → Music Dojo", so you can drag files in directly.

No. Streaming subscriptions and DRM-protected purchases cannot be played by any third-party app. Music Dojo plays files you import yourself — purchased downloads, CDs you ripped, your own recordings.

MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, CAF, Opus and Ogg Vorbis. This version does not convert between formats.

Only for Wi-Fi Transfer, which lets your computer's browser send files to your phone over your own network. The server runs only while that screen is open and is protected by a six-digit code shown on the phone. This is the app's only network feature; nothing else in Music Dojo ever goes online.

Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network, and the phone must not be on a cellular connection or a VPN that isolates local traffic. Keep Music Dojo open and on the Wi-Fi Transfer screen — the server stops when you leave it. Type the address exactly as shown, then enter the six-digit code. Some guest and corporate networks block device-to-device traffic entirely; a personal hotspot from the phone works as a fallback.

Yes, if the cloud drive appears in Apple's Files app — iCloud Drive always does, and most major providers do once their app is installed. In Music Dojo, go to Files tab → + → Choose Files or Choose a Folder and pick it from the cloud drive; iOS downloads it and Music Dojo imports it.

Files tab → Recently Deleted. Anything deleted in the last 30 days can be restored from there. If the original folder is gone, the file comes back with "(recovered)" in its name.

Yes. There are no in-app purchases, no subscription, no ads, no tips and no usage limits. Every feature — playback, the equalizer, whole-folder Wi-Fi transfer, batch tag editing, duplicate cleanup and the storage breakdown — is included for everyone.

Yes. Settings → Language lets you pick English, 日本語, Deutsch, Français, Español, 简体中文 or 繁體中文, independently of your iPhone's own language. System Default follows the iPhone and falls back to English.

Check the extension is one of the nine supported formats, and open Tools → Audio File Inspector, which shows what the file actually contains rather than what it is named. Files bought from a store with DRM cannot be played. If the file plays elsewhere but not here, email us — a sample of the file helps enormously.

Yes. Everything Music Dojo stores lives inside the app, so deleting it removes your imported files too. Export anything you want to keep first — the Files app can copy the whole "Music Dojo" folder out to iCloud Drive or a connected drive.

Email support@dojoism.com with your iOS version, Music Dojo version (Settings → About), device model, and a short description of what you did and what happened. For a playback or import problem, the file's format and roughly how large it is helps a lot.
